Our Story
TSINGPU began not as a business, but as a question:
How do we keep these techniques alive when the young people leave for the cities?
In 2009, we started working with a single workshop in Yangzhou — a family that had been carving jade for six generations. Today, TSINGPU supports over 2,000 heritage artisans across four cultural retreats and nine cultural regions of China. We do not aggregate. We build. Every workshop, every product, every experience is designed and controlled by us, working directly with the masters who know these crafts best.
Not a Travel Agency
Unlike booking platforms, we control every detail. Our 2,000+ artisans are trained, our 600+ workshops are standardized, and our 4 retreats are personally curated.
We do not sell tickets or hotel rooms. We offer half-day to multi-day immersions where you live alongside masters and create something with your own hands.
While others aggregate experiences they cannot control, we built the experiences ourselves. Quality is not promised — it is guaranteed.
Questions
We ship via DHL and FedEx. Most orders arrive within 7–14 business days depending on your location. Each piece is packed by hand, which may add 1–2 days to processing.
Because each item is handmade and often one-of-a-kind, we accept returns only for damaged or incorrect items. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Yes. We work on a direct-trade model. Artisans set their own prices, and we add a transparent margin. 10% of every sale funds our artisan training programs.

Shipping & Delivery
All orders are packed by hand in Beijing using recycled and reusable materials. We currently ship to over 40 countries.
